THE STUDIO

Spokane's premier recording studio is conveniently located near downtown. The space features a large live room for multiple people to track instruments, a drumbrella, moveable tube traps for extra isolation and three isolation booths facing the large space. The control and mix room have a SSL AWS console, Phantom Focus Monitoring System by Carl Tatz Design-Nashville, a collection of analog gear and a cozy vibe. Come spend time with us on your next project. 
Amplified Wax is owned and operated by Jimmy Hill and has been in this downtown location for 10 years. If you are looking to record your next project, reach out to us from our contact page. Instrument tracking is where professional sound really begins. Enjoy the best spacious live room with natural reverb in the PNW.

Pro Tip: High-quality tracking is about decisions, performance and honesty. Great engineers don't "fix" sounds-they capture them right the first time.

Mastering

A great master starts with a great mix. Mastering enhances-it doesn't rescue a song. It should give it the final translation polish across all systems.

Pro Tip: Master at low volume. If it's full and balanced, it will translate everywhere.
